If you are 70 or older and have a Traditional or Roth IRA, you may give up to $100,000 to a charitable organization without being subject to income tax on the distribution. In addition, the gift satisfies all or in part the annual Required Minimum Distribution from the IRA. We encourage you to consider an IRA Charitable Rollover gift to the Delta Theta Sigma Educational Foundation of Gamma Chapter, Inc. or to the UW Foundation Delta Theta Sigma Scholarship Fund. You may make a direct charitable gift to help fund scholarships awarded by the DTS Educational Foundation, remodeling, and repair projects at the DTS house or to support DTS recruitment efforts by supporting our DTS scholarships within the College of Agriculture and Live Sciences (CALS).
We encourage you to consult your IRA custodian or financial planner to assist you.
